In this rewarding role, you’ll manage a caseload of 30-35 students, working 30 hours per week alongside dedicated educators and support staff. Focused primarily within a school-based environment, your expertise will help ensure students have the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications &Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Kansas
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 student needs, with the ability to tailor therapy plans accordingly
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and school teams
- Comfortable managing an ongoing caseload, documentation, and IEP-driven interventions
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions to address students academic and functional goals
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to provide comprehensive support
- Document progress, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Offer adaptive strategies, sensory support, and assistive technology recommendations
