Bring your expertise in school psychology to make a meaningful impact in educational settings near Topeka, KS. This contract role spans the  academic year, offering flexibility for professionals who thrive both in-person and in a hybrid environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting high school students, especially through re-evaluations, though there is flexibility in grade level and caseload assignments based on experience and interest.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Active Kansas School Psychologist license is required.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, with a strong background in assessments and student evaluations.
  • Skilled in managing high school caseloads and conducting re-evaluations.
  • Familiarity with both on-site and virtual service delivery models.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Role Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for high school students.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Maintain clear and confidential student records in compliance with state guidelines.
  • Provide consultative support to school teams to enhance learning environments.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Balance in-person and virtual work, with three days on-site and two days remote each week.
