After School Tutor - Certified - Grant Funded

Reports To:

Principal/Program Coordinator

Provide academic enrichment to improve student learning.

• Current Kansas Teaching Certificate
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to 2 – 10 hours per week
• Knowledgeable about CCSS, technology, remediation/enrichment activities, and children
• Willingness to meet the individual academic needs of children through differentiated approaches
• Knowledgeable about and understand District policies and procedures.

• Certified tutors support students in academics, data collection, and analysis.
• Provide individual/small group instruction based on student needs
• Ensure alternative instructional materials and resources that extend the required concepts
• Provide data as requested to the after-school coordinator

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
• The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The employee is required to interact with staff and to meet the demands of several people.

Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:30

$25 per Hour
