Apparatus technician/NETA Level 2, 3, 4 (apparatus tech with 3+ years of experience).
Hiring on behalf of a client that is a fully accredited International Electrical Testing Association (NETA) company, publicly traded and growing. The company is seeking NETA Level 2, 3, and 4 Testing Technicians across the USA, as well as non‑NETA Apparatus Testing Technicians. Management and leadership positions may be available for NETA 3 and above.

- Perform electrical testing and analysis on power systems and equipment.
- Lead and manage electrical testing projects from initiation to completion.
- Mentor and train junior technicians in electrical testing procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with NETA standards and safety regulations during testing operations.
- Prepare detailed reports on testing results and recommend improvements based on findings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all field service issues and requests.
- Lead and/or support data center work.
- NETA III / IV Certification (required for higher level roles)
- NETA II certification, or non‑NETA apparatus techs with at least 3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3‑5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in technical services management, focusing on electrical systems and NETA standards.
- Experience/knowledge of electrical code and standards such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI.
- Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges with a commitment to finding optimal solutions.
$35–$50 per hour – non‑NETA test technicians with 3–5 years of experience.
$50–$65 per hour – non‑NETA test technicians with 5–7 years of experience (apparatus and relays).
$65–$80 per hour – 8+ years of experience, depending on experience and technical skills.
NETA technicians – pay based on years of experience and credentials.
