Overview
We’re hiring an Electrical Estimator with commercial construction experience to support preconstruction and bidding efforts on large electrical projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys estimating, reviewing plans, pricing projects, and working closely with project teams.
Responsibilities- Prepare electrical estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing
- Estimate commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and bid preparation
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and preconstruction teams
- 2+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Commercial electrical construction experience required
- Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications
- Trimble Accubid experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills
