Newcomer Funeral Service Group is seeking a Family Service Associate to help individuals and families with advance planning and at-need cemetery arrangements at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka. Known for its beautiful grounds and peaceful atmosphere, Memorial Park provides a welcoming environment where families can make important decisions with confidence and support.
This is a meaningful, relationship-based sales role focused on helping families plan ahead and gain peace of mind. Family Service Associates build connections within the community, educate families about their cemetery planning options, generate sales through company-provided resources and self-generated leads, participate in community outreach activities, and ensure every arrangement is handled with care and attention to detail. The role offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families while building a rewarding career helping others prepare for the future.
Qualifications- High school diploma required (associate degree or higher preferred)
- Minimum of one year of experience in sales, service, or a related field
- Strong communication skills with a respectful, people-focused approach
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using basic office and computer systems
- Ability to manage multiple arrangements while ensuring accuracy and follow-through
- Enjoys working with people and helping families select from a range of services and merchandise
- Base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities
