Lead Personal Banker

This is a Lead Personal Banker position focused on opening and managing open banking accounts, processing loan applications, and supporting Core First products and services. LPBs assist customers, coach branch staff, and contribute to branch sales goals.

• Illustrate and sell the benefits of Core First Bank & Trust products and services to prospective and current customers to generate new business and strengthen existing household relationships.
• Track progress toward branch sales goals and partner with the Branch Sales Manager in assigning personal and branch goals.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching to Personal Bankers and Customer Service Associates related to Core First products and sales processes.
• Provide existing bank customers with listening and questioning to understand financial needs, answer questions, perform account maintenance, and assist with bank processes and procedures.
• Participate in daily branch operations including opening/closing the branch, balancing the vault, completing internal records and audit logs, administering safe deposit box needs, and performing teller duties.
• Resolve customer escalations regarding bank sales and services.
• Carry out other administrative functions as needed.

• Two (2) years of banking experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college encouraged.

• High level of skills in Core First Bank & Trust competencies:

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in procedure and/or technology.
• Proficiency with processes and procedures related to consumer deposit and loan products.

The physical demands include regularly talking or hearing, frequently sitting, standing, and walking. Some light physical effort is required, including the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
