Innovation Design Group (IDG) is looking for a driven and analytical Product Actuary to join our team and help shape innovative insurance products in the annuity marketplace.

In this role, you won’t just maintain models — you’ll help design, evaluate, and refine products that are brought to market through leading carriers and distributors. You’ll collaborate across actuarial, marketing, and distribution teams while gaining direct exposure to product strategy, pricing decisions, and competitive positioning.

• Support the ideation, development, and pricing of insurance products and product features
• Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing, profitability analysis, and projections
• Perform sensitivity testing, scenario analysis, and financial impact assessments
• Conduct competitive analysis across product lines and distribution channels
• Support research and development of index strategies used within products
• Assist in developing pricing assumptions and financial projections
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of actuarial models and workflows
• Translate complex actuarial concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support product rollout initiatives by helping develop sales materials and explaining product positioning
• Provide actuarial expertise to marketing partners and distributors, including responding to product-related questions and supporting competitive intelligence efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related quantitative field
• Minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed
• Minimum of 2 years of professional actuarial experience

• Product pricing or product development experience, particularly in the Fixed Index Annuity space
• Exposure to insurance accounting bases, reserving, or reinsurance
• Experience with financial modeling and projection systems
• Automation or workflow tool development
• Experience building analytical or web-based tools
