Overview
The City of Wamego Police Department is looking for a full-time police officer.

Full time
Starting Wage: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications- Applicants must be 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or GED equivalency, valid driver’s license.
- KLETC certification is preferred.
- All Kansas Commission on Peace Officers certification and employment requirements apply.
- Successful candidates must pass oral interview, psychological testing, drug/alcohol screening, criminal history background check and additional job-related testing.
- Work schedule requires shift work including weekends, holidays, and court appearances.
