Financial Clearance Specialist

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist Remote.

Key Responsibilities Verify patient demographic, financial, and insurance information for scheduled medical services Collect patient payments and provide estimates for services while addressing inquiries regarding financial liabilities Ensure pre-certification authorization is in place and reschedule appointments as necessary

Required Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D., with a business concentration preferred Four plus years of experience in a business office setting, preferably in a healthcare environment Prior experience in a hospital revenue cycle or collection agency is required Working knowledge of personal computers and business office applications preferred Familiarity with hospital computer systems and knowledge of third-party collections is a plus
