Pharmacy Technician

Vail Valley Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our hardworking, community-focused team in Edwards. We are a locally owned, full-service pharmacy specializing in compounding and supplements, with a strong commitment to personalized service and wellness.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play an important role in creating an excellent experience for our patients while supporting our pharmacists and senior technicians with prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory, and day-to-day pharmacy operations.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping people
. Previous pharmacy experience is welcome, but it is not required
. We will train the right candidate who is eager to learn, become certified, and build a long-term career with our team.

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone with friendly, genuine customer service
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure patient and prescription information is complete and accurate
• Select the correct medication and count and prepare prescriptions for final pharmacist verification
• Accurately process cash and credit transactions and ensure prescriptions are provided to the correct patient
• Order, stock, organize, and monitor inventory
• Manage incoming customer emails and ensure timely, professional responses
• Help resolve customer service, insurance billing, and prescription-processing issues
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, pharmacists, and coworkers
• Follow all legal requirements and pharmacy quality and safety standards
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong basic computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities
• Pre-employment drug test required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification required within 18 months of hire;
  training certificate program provided
• Previous pharmacy experience is welcome but not required
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to reliably commute to our Edwards location

This is a full-time, in-person position with flexibility to work a variety of shifts during our operating hours:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

We are also closed for six major (paid) holidays
