Travel Cath Lab​/EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a community hospital setting requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT or CCI certification.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Cath Lab / EP Tech role
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification required, Kansas license required if ARRT (license required if applicable)
• Community hospital experience required
• Skills in venous access, port accessing/managing, and central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC lines) required
• Experience with EKG lead placement, accurate monitoring, and maintaining sterile field while scrubbing preferred
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement, left/right heart catheterization, PCI, and PTCA
• Experience with EP studies such as cardiac ablation, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, and pacemaker insertion preferred
• Experience with vascular studies/procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, and dialysis graft interventions

• Community hospital cardiac catheterization lab setting
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• May float to like units within scope based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Perform a wide range of cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology procedures including TAVR, Watchman, Impella insertion, and rotablator atherectomy
• May also assist with abdominal/pelvic, genitourinary, and neurological interventional procedures
• First-time travelers accepted
• Former perm staff must be separated from facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
