The AVP, Talent & Leadership Development will lead the design, delivery and execution of leadership and talent development programs that strengthen leadership capability, accelerate talent readiness, and support business performance.

As a key member of the Global Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE), this role collaborates with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Management colleagues to create and scale impactful learning experiences that help leaders grow and succeed at every stage of their careers.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This role is equally comfortable facilitating leadership experiences, leveraging data and insights, exploring emerging technologies, and using AI-powered solutions to create personalized and impactful development experiences. This individual is energized by creating impactful learning experiences, leveraging learning technology, and driving measurable business outcomes through talent development. While leadership development will be the primary focus, the role will also contribute to broader talent initiatives, including succession planning, high-potential development, career growth, talent reviews, performance enablement, and organizational capability building.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Talent Management peers in the design and delivery of leadership development programs and learning experiences across the organization
  • Leverage skills-intelligence, workforce data, and talent insights to build skills-based development strategies that support career development, internal mobility, and provide growth experiences for high-potential talent and leaders at all levels.
  • Connect business priorities, workforce trends, and talent insights to leadership and talent development programs.
  • Leverage modern learning technologies, AI-enabled tools, and skills-based talent practices to design and deliver blended, engaging, personalized learning experiences that help leaders grow and apply new skills on the job.
  • Consult with business leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and design practical talent and leadership development solutions that address business needs.
  • Coach and support HR partners, subject matter experts, and internal facilitators to expand program reach, strengthen adoption, and ensure consistent learner experiences.
  • Partner with external providers and vendors to deliver high-quality leadership assessments (360s), coaching solutions, and development experiences.
  • Measure, evaluate, and continuously improve development programs using data, feedback, and insights to strengthen leadership capability and demonstrate business impact.
  • Develop leadership-facing presentations and talent insights that demonstrate program effectiveness, talent outcomes, and business impact.
  • Stay current on leadership, talent, and learning trends to bring innovative practices to the organization.
  • Support Talent Management initiatives including succession planning, career development, performance enablement, and employee engagement.
  • Some travel (~10%) may be expected in the future

Essential

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, learning and development, organizational development, or related disciplines
