What You’ll DoThe Employee Experience Specialist coordinates the onboarding process from offer acceptance through orientation, ensuring new team members have the tools, resources, and support they need to begin their careers with confidence. You’ll serve as an important point of connection for new employees, helping them navigate the steps leading up to their first day and creating a welcoming experience as they join the Midland Care team.
In this role, you’ll manage new hire paperwork, employee records, required documentation, and compliance requirements while partnering closely with hiring managers and leaders to ensure each new employee has a smooth transition into the organization. You’ll also support ongoing compliance initiatives, maintain accurate employee information, and help identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and the overall employee experience.

Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we provide a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program.

This role requires someone who can handle confidential employee information with discretion, work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team and organizational leaders, and consistently demonstrate accuracy, follow-through, and a commitment to helping others succeed. This position will be required to work in Topeka with the possibility of travel to other cities based on business needs.
Qualifications:Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or employee onboarding
