Onsite in Topeka, KS. Must be able to travel to the work site and/or be within an hour drive to Topeka, KS. - Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience with information system technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Power Shell, email and collaboration systems, and the tools and utilities associated with the maintenance of such systems.
Provides expert support for Microsoft AD Sync and ADFS user directory. Integral part of the team that will provide implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Synced and Federated services. Management of user accounts including licensing, account settings, group memberships, policy memberships, migration paths, etc. Collaborate with vendors, and other possible Government-based customers as required.
Administer the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center to help govern data and services across Microsoft 365. Management includes options to assist agencies in legal, regulatory and organizational requirements such as eDiscovery, Litigation hold and PST files.
Provide technical support for creation, modification and administration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, One Drive, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI and develop solutions.
Provide expert technical support for the Kansas cloud-based messaging and collaboration system. Integral part of the team responsible for the design, planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of the statewide cloud-based messaging and collaboration system. Manage and administer on-prem servers, certificates, DNS designs, etc. Collaborate with vendors, and other possible Government-based customers as required.
Troubleshoots and resolves complex network, server, Active Directory, ADFS issues related to Microsoft 365 applications. Utilizes Microsoft 365 Admin tools, Power Shell, network analyzers, telnet, nslookup, ping, tracert, rpimon, dcdiag, netdiag, and custom MMC snap-ins. Exchange administrator center, redadmin.
Education & Training- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Coursework in Microsoft Active Directory, Electronic Mail and Collaboration systems, network operating systems, network protocols, LANs & WANs, virtualization technologies, and storage area networks.
- Advanced training in Active Directory and Electronic messaging technologies preferred.
CJIS Security Clearance or ability to obtain in the first month.
KnowledgeKnowledge and experience with information system technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Power Shell, electronic mail and collaboration systems, and the tools and utilities associated with the maintenance of such systems.
ExperienceAt least 5 years experience in complex IT system design and maintenance including the management and planning of Microsoft Active Directory and electronic mail and collaboration technologies.
