PeopleSoft Consultant

Summary

This role will support and enhance People Soft Financials by combining functional finance knowledge with hands-on technical development. This consultant will partner with Finance and IT teams to maintain system stability, improve processes, and deliver ongoing enhancements.

• Configure and support People Soft Financials with a strong focus on General Ledger.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain People Soft objects including People Code, Application Engine, component interfaces, SQR, and BI Publisher.
• Investigate and resolve production issues impacting financial operations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with system updates, patches, and functional enhancements.

• Extensive experience supporting People Soft Financials in a techno-functional capacity.
• Hands-on development experience using People Tools, People Code, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of core accounting and financial workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
