Role SummaryColgate-Palmolive is seeking a Plant Systems Specialist to lead the strategic integration and management of our manufacturing IT infrastructure. The role supports site operations, overseeing SQL database management, MES configuration, and quality reporting systems to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage plant-floor integration projects, aligning workforce readiness, processes, and IT assets for seamless deployments.
- Configure, test, and optimize site computerized systems including SAP (WMS, QM, PM/EAM), SPC software, and manufacturing quality databases.
- Partner with local plant leadership, engineering, and regional IT teams to define, standardize, and scale efficient manufacturing capabilities.
- Enforce global manufacturing standards, EHS and food safety compliance, and ensure system integrity.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance to plant operations teams to build long‑term site capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Informatics, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years of manufacturing operations or supply chain experience.
- Proficiency in AVEV A and SQL database systems.
- Experience configuring, testing, and maintaining network databases that bridge equipment control systems and enterprise IT.
- Track record of successful project management and leading technical training for operational teams.
- Proficiency in SAP transactions – Production Orders, Material Movements, Quality Notifications, and Production Confirmations.
- Experience with Wonderware (Archestra, InBatch), SQL database systems, Opera/MES platforms, and PLC (Allen Bradley, RSLogix).
- Background in plant control, automation systems maintenance, or direct operations management.
- Alignment with business LIFT principles and collaborative problem‑solving.
Salaried, $70,000.00 – $96,000.00 USD (location and experience dependent). Potential for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive roles.
