Required Skills & Experience Strong SQL development experience, including complex scripting, table creation, stored procedures, views, and advanced query development. Hands-on SSIS experience building, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting ETL processes, including data flows, error handling, and C# scripting. Experience developing reports and dashboards using BI/reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, or Power BI. Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

Strong understanding of data relationships, data modeling, data validation, and end-to-end data flow troubleshooting.

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Engineer to support a rapidly growing data warehouse environment that has generated a significant backlog of enhancements and new project initiatives. This individual will split their time between ongoing operational support and project-based work, helping maintain and expand the organization's reporting and analytics capabilities. The role will be heavily focused on SQL development, including scripting, stored procedures, table creation, views, and complex query development.

Candidates should have strong SSIS experience building, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting ETL processes and data flows that support the enterprise data warehouse. One of the primary projects involves migrating and remapping existing Power BI dashboards to updated data sources while ensuring data accuracy and report continuity. Additional work includes supporting a highway reporting initiative that leverages SSIS packages to load spreadsheet-based data into the warehouse for downstream reporting and analytics.

The position will also develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or similar BI platforms. Candidates should be comfortable gathering business requirements and translating them into meaningful reporting solutions and visualizations. Strong troubleshooting skills are required to identify data quality issues and trace problems across ETL processes, data sources, and reporting layers.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of data warehousing, ETL development, reporting, and business intelligence experience and be comfortable working directly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
