Area Manager, Management Operations Manager

Line Quest, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Area Manager for full-time opportunities. This Area Manager will work independently in the field using our company-provided vehicle and will utilize our state-of-the-art ticket and claims management system.

In this important role as an Area Manager, you would be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and providing field supervision for all technicians assigned in your defined geographic territory. You will also ensure that assigned locators complete their tickets by due dates while maintaining positive employee, client, and public relations. This is a full-time position and overtime will be required.

• Adhere to company policies
• Ensure that all devices are properly working daily
• Follow driving directions from 811 One-Calls
• Walk 3 to 5 miles a day if needed carrying equipment
• Adapt to adverse situations
• Learn new devices and changing laws
• Keep the Operations Manager aware of any issues or problems in the field
• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable, gas, water, and sewer systems
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking location and completing tasks

• Experience is a must! Three (3) years of line locating experience is preferred
• 1 – 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
• Effective verbal and listening skills
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screening

• Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather
