Lead Two Brands. Build the Teams. Own the Results — and a Piece of the Upside. We're looking for a driven, hands‑on Area General Manager to lead across two established home‑services brands —
Climate Control Heating, Cooling & Plumbing in Liberty, Missouri and Advantage Latta-Whitlow in Topeka, Kansas. This is a multi‑site leadership role for an operator who thrives on hitting numbers, developing people, and delivering a five‑star customer experience at every location.
You’ll have full ownership of both branches’ success: the P&L, the teams, the customers, and the culture. This is more than a management job — it's a chance to think and act like an owner, with real equity potential for the leader who drives the results. We'll give you the tools, the support network, and the runway. You bring the leadership.
RequirementsWhat You’ll Own Drive performance and profitability across both locations
- Lead all activity at both branches to exceed revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA targets
- Build monthly operating budgets with each leadership team and manage job costs, margins, and expenses to plan
- Review and approve invoices, payroll reports, and material/equipment spend
- Track the metrics that matter — call board, field conversion, average ticket, tech-generated leads, and membership growth
- Champion service quality at every customer touchpoint and maintain a 4.8+ Google rating
- Review customer feedback daily and resolve issues same‑day
- Partner with marketing each month to grow demand across your service area
- Keep accounts receivable healthy — no A/R past 90 days
- Run an in‑person daily huddle to review yesterday’s results and plan the next three days
- Hold monthly one‑on‑ones with each teammate to review goals and scorecards
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a winning team — and hold it accountable
- Recognize wins and keep both teams aligned through quarterly team meetings
- Own safety training, processes, and reporting so every teammate goes home safe
- Ensure the branch operates in line with company policy and local employment law
- Partner monthly with recruiting to keep staffing levels strong and turnover low
- Join weekly check‑in calls with fellow GMs and attend quarterly in‑person GM Boot Camp
- 5+ years supervising or managing within a service‑industry operation, with a proven track record of hitting and beating revenue goals
- Strong grasp of P&L, job costing, and cost/forecast analysis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (High School diploma / GED required)
- Working knowledge of local business and employment laws
- Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with tablets, smartphones, and GPS/mapping tools
- A clean driving record and background check as required by state law and our insurance carrier
- A professional presence, excellent communication skills, and a genuine drive to exceed customer expectations
- Equity potential — a real ownership stake for the leader who drives the results
- Multi‑site scope — lead two established brands, not just one location, with the backing of a growing home‑services platform
- A support network of fellow GMs and leaders invested in your success
- Competitive base + performance bonus that rewards results
- Comprehensive benefits — medical, dental, and vision; 401(k); paid time off (confirm/adjust to brand plan)
- Room to grow — we promote from within and invest in developing our leaders
- Medical Insurance
- Dental and Vision plans
- Life Insurance plan
- 401(k) with Company Match
