Responsibilities- Interpret and follow welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
- Use calibrated measuring tools to fit assemblies accurately.
- Utilize hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery‑powered tools.
- Operate plasma cutters, oxy‑acetylene torches, and carbon air arc equipment.
- Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
- Work with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist in other production areas as needed.
- 1+ year of welding experience.
- Experience with MIG or Flux Core welding processes.
- Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
- Ability to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment check, drug screen, physical capacity test, and breath alcohol test.
- These positions have an emphasis on flux core, but open to looking at candidates skilled in GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW welding who can test capably.

Work EnvironmentBased in Topeka, KS, the company is a premier manufacturer specializing in the engineering, fabrication, and assembly of high‑quality metal enclosures, cases, and components. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Thursday, from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Topeka, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.
