• Access and work within Tekla Structures to prepare jobs for fabrication and production.
• Create and manage all production files, including CNC files, shop drawings, and fabrication data required by the shop floor.
• Generate and assemble complete print packages for fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly.
• Review, stamp, and mark up drawings with shop-specific notes, standards, and fabrication requirements.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) to support material procurement and production planning.
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Detailing, Estimating, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure released information is complete and accurate.
• Verify scope, quantities, and sequencing to minimize fabrication issues and rework.
• Ensure released packages align with project schedules and production priorities.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and revision control.
• Assist related companies and departments with special projects as needed.
• The freedom to complete work assignments with as much or little support as needed.

• 5+ years experience in structural steel fabrication, detailing, or production support required.
• Strong understanding of structural steel drawings, shop practices, and fabrication processes required.
• Ability to run Microsoft computer applications required.
• Working knowledge of Tekla Structures or other modeling software strongly preferred.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
