What

You’ll Be Doing

  • Trimming, weeding, and mounting vinyl accurately and efficiently
  • Inspecting signs for quality, alignment, and durability
  • Packaging completed signs securely for shipment
  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and production‑ready
  • Assisting with workflow coordination as production volume grows
  • Supporting — and potentially leading — other shop team members
Schedule & Pay Structure
  • Starts as an hourly role
  • Overtime may be available depending on workload
  • Opportunity to transition into a salaried leadership position as responsibilities grow
  • Hands‑on experience producing roadway or traffic signs
  • Experience applying vinyl and/or reflective sheeting
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional work
  • Ability to work on your feet and handle physical shop tasks
  • Dependable, consistent work ethic
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience using Flexi or other sign design/cutting software
  • Experience working in a sign shop or traffic control supply environment
  • Previous leadership or crew lead experience
What Makes Someone a Great Fit
  • Works efficiently without cutting corners
  • Catches small imperfections before a sign leaves the shop
  • Takes ownership of their work and the final product
  • Helps keep the team organized and on schedule
  • Comfortable stepping up to guide others when needed

This role may evolve into a Shop Lead / Production Lead position. Candidates who show initiative, reliability, and the ability to help manage workflow and team members will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role with salaried pay.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Lifting and moving sign materials and boxes
