Packaging Operator II

Job Summary

The Free Flex Bag Packaging Operators II are responsible for inspection process, cleaning, loading all commodities, setup, size changeover, startup activities, performing minor maintenance, and normal operation of the batch. They may also be assigned tasks related to general upkeep of the area, size change‑overs, setting up the line and performing minor maintenance. All these activities are governed by strict procedures and regulations and require a high degree of training, under moderate supervision from the Production Supervisor.

Hourly range: $15.58 - $22.99.

• Inspect, clean, and load all the commodities.
• Setup and perform size changeover and startup activities.
• Operate and maintain the batch operation.
• Perform minor to moderate maintenance and preventative maintenance of production lines.
• Master set‑up of Inspection Machine (IM) and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot ITD for Inspection Machine and troubleshoot Packaging robots, case labeler, leaflet machine, and case taper.
• Identify problems, develop solutions, and execute corrections while adhering to all SOPs.
• Review peer‑to‑peer batch record documentation to ensure accuracy according to Good Documentation Practice standards.
• Operate advanced HMI applications.
• Document work accurately and in a timely manner in the batch record or logbooks.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, and Safety Requirements.
• Provide shadow training of Packaging Operators III.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance with company documents and programs related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
