TITLEProduction Technician Snacks Processing
REPORTS TOArea Leader/Team Leader
SUMMARYProduce high quality treats with minimal yield loss and deliver product for the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
- Assigned shift attendance is required.
- Make dye.
- Make coating.
- Add hand‑adds to dry mixes.
- Responsible for running and monitoring the system continuously.
- Responsible for weekly start‑ups, shut‑downs and clean‑ups.
- Perform minor maintenance of department equipment.
- Maintain sanitation: keep production and preparation areas clean.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
- Prepared to perform manual tasks to keep the system running.
- Work as part of a team.
- Assist fellow employees as needed.

High‑school degree or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.
REASONING ABILITYApply common sense to carry out both oral and written instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Stand and lift regularly; walk at least 70% of the time.
Work 8‑hour rotating shifts with flexibility for additional hours. - Lift/push/pull or carry up to 50 pounds; lift 30–35 pounds frequently.
Squat or kneel and bend frequently. - Work in a 40–50° °F environment; tolerate exposure to flour and yeast materials.
Climb steps and vertical ladders 10 ft high frequently. - Operate automatic equipment, pressurized air hoses, high‑pressure hoses, and hot‑steam injected water (strahman).
Employee must perform essential job functions consistent with safety standards and practices, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Hot in summer, cold in winter.
