• Responsible for the planning, improvement and transport of inner and outside organization communications and/or projects for Retail and customer revel in region of the business.
• Helps improvement of external and inner communications strategy and plans for the assigned divisions.
• Completes assignments against communications plan and updates as needed.
• Researches the modern‑day communications and associated enterprise tendencies.
• Writes and edits external and inner communications merchandise, inclusive of press releases, media pitches, government briefing books, key messages, speaking factors, memos, reviews, and other communications.
• Coordinates with purposeful groups and manufacturing as wished.
• Serve as communications endorse to companions and leaders inside the retail and patron enjoy characteristic.
• Applies a strategic lens to the communications assist, internal and/or external, for Walgreens retail supplying.
• Manages media inquiries, proactive and reactive, related to Walgreens retail enterprise.
• Serves as number one daily contact for inner and external commercial enterprise companions.
• Maintains a normal pulse at the industry covered and stocks timely updates and implications with colleagues and commercial enterprise companions.

• Bachelor’s diploma and at least 12 months of experience in Communications at an employer/expert services firm OR higher education/ GED and at least four years of experience in Communications at an enterprise/professional services company.
• Experience pitching and growing relationships with media, writing short, movement primarily based communications, including press releases, media pitches, key messages and speakme factors, in addition to prolonged strategic files and presentations.
• Experience developing ways of engaging in goals with little or no supervision, and handling escalation of issues.
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (SUM, borders, column width, charts, text wrap, sorting, headers/footers).
• Intermediate level ability in Microsoft PowerPoint (theme, formatting, slide layout, slide numbers, transitions, chart style).
• Intermediate level ability in Microsoft Word (headers, page breaks, tables, column adjustments).
• Inclined to journey up to 10% of the time for commercial enterprise purposes (domestic and international).

• Bachelor’s degree in a communications area (e.g., mass communications, fitness communications, journalism, public relations).
• Experience in communication plan development and mission control.
• Experience in retail, digital, technology or CPG communications.
• Experience in patron commercial enterprise communications.
• At least 2 years of communication experience at an organization/professional services firm.
