American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift assignment requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of med/surg experience.

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hour schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Option for either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Float to other units as required
• Some weekends required
• Responsible for providing nursing care to diverse adult medical and surgical patients
• First-time travelers may be considered
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically approved and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

• Active KS or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
  
  Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
