Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Providence Living Center – Topeka, KS

We are hiring a full‑time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

Competitive salary of  18.00 to  19.80/hr, with a  2/hr CARES differential.

As a CNA, you will provide total care for our residents: activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, catheter care, and other care defined by the resident plan of care.

Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight), conduct range of motion, observe and report changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.

Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements and facility policies. Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

• Completed state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in a mental health nursing facility preferred.

Full‑time 12‑hour shifts, every other weekend.

Week 1:
Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.

3‑day weekends every other weekend. Never more than 3 days in a row. 7 days off every 14 days. Average 2 hours overtime per week.
