Position Summary

Registered Nurse – Primary Care, Seward, Alaska

• The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of resident care for a specific group of residents, including supervision of team members.
• Nursing services delivered by team members are supervised by and directly accountable to the Director of Nursing through the licensed nurses in the homes.
• Coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians.
• Serves as the point of contact for elder information.
• Provides supervision and mentorship for staff.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Preferred: 6 months of nursing experience in a health‑care facility (acute care, long‑term care, rehabilitation center).
• Preferred:
  Supervision or leadership experience.

• Full time, 36 hours per week.
• Variable shift.

• Base pay range: $43.12 - $66.95 per hour.
• Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires.
