This facility operates comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services with advanced capabilities across inpatient units, operating rooms, and emergency departments. The hospital maintains modern surgical equipment and established protocols to support high‑quality cardiothoracic surgery patient care delivery.

• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency department settings with day‑shift and 24‑hour shift responsibilities, including call coverage.
• Manage 4-5 patients per day during hospital rounding with an average of 1-2 calls per night.
• Prescribe medications and manage patient care protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support a program averaging 140 hearts per year requiring skilled surgical support and continuity of care.

• Licensed nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority.
• Can work in inpatient, OR, and ER environments.
• Ready to work 10+ days per month, including day shift and 24‑hour shift duties.
• Call coverage required.
• Board certification not required.

• Travel and lodging expenses are covered.
• Assignments available starting in June.
