Nursing Supervisor ADON LNMTC

Description of Work

Assists the Director of Nursing in establishing goals and developing systems to deliver a 24‑hour day of nursing care. Supervises House Supervisors, Emergency Medical Technicians, Transport HCTs, Restorative Aides, MDS Nurse Supervisor, Wound Care Nurse, and Nurse Scheduler. Implements the Nursing Quality Improvement system, conducts rounds, chairs committees, and participates in projects to improve delivery of care. Mandatory status: employees must report to work during adverse weather and emergency conditions.

• Assist in goal setting and system development for 24‑hour nursing care.
• Supervise nursing and support staff across multiple units.
• Implement and monitor the Nursing Quality Improvement system.
• Conduct rounds to observe care and share information.
• Chair or serve on committees and lead projects to enhance care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting during adverse conditions.

• Thorough knowledge of professional nursing theory, techniques, and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of management and supervisory methods.
• Ability to apply agency and nursing service policies and procedures.
• Planning, organizing, and supervising health care staff.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.

Longleaf Neuro‑Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC) in Wilson, NC is a state‑operated certified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) serving approximately 200 residents with complex medical needs.

Registered Nurse licence in North Carolina and four years of nursing experience, including at least two years in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
