Qualifications & Details

Responsibilities
  • Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of residents while ensuring all resident rights are protected.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Check all residents daily to ensure prescribed treatments are properly administered and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
  • Keep the RN Supervisor informed about resident status, staff, and related matters.
  • Implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
  • Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, colostomy and drainage bag care, and collecting blood, sputum, and urine specimens as per facility policies.
  • Complete all required LPN record‑keeping forms/charts upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc., and file them appropriately.
  • Hand over nursing reports at shift change; receive reports from incoming staff.
  • Investigate complaints and grievances and submit oral or written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
  • Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech.
  • Adhere to policies and standards of the facility.
