Heritage Grove Estates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality, hands‑on care to our residents. This role is integral to supporting residents with activities of daily living while ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times. The CNA will work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to uphold person‑centered care standards in alignment with regulatory and clinical expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately measure, record, and report vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure, identifying and communicating any significant changes to nursing staff
- Assist residents with mobility needs, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning in accordance with individualized care plans and safety protocols
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nutritional assistance
- Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident requests, ensuring timely service and resident satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with infection control standards and facility policies
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition or behavior to the supervising nurse
- Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Adhere strictly to all facility policies, KDADS regulations, CMS guidelines, and infection prevention protocols
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Kansas, in good standing with no disqualifying findings on the Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical team environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting
