Night Shift Registered Nurse

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift coverage in the Medical Surgical department. The role involves providing high-quality patient care while adhering to facility standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit during night shifts.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to similar units within scope as needed, based on facility demands.
• Complete onsite modules and brief orientation during onboarding.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active KS or Compact RN license valid at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Have current BLS certification in hand at the time of submission.
• Be willing to work 36 or 48-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
• Demonstrate ability to float to like units, adhering to scope and policies.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
