Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week Long‑Term Care assignment in rural Kansas. The role follows a 3x12‑hour schedule, offering up to $1,800 per week. The RN provides direct, compassionate care to geriatric residents while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and resident progress
Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and clinical staff
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Coordinate care with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and team members
Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and emergencies
Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection‑control standards
Provide compassionate support and education to residents and their families
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
Current BLS certification
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast‑paced LTC environment
Skills:
Previous Long‑Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
