Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program.

Clinical Services Educator

Midland Care is looking for aClinical Educator – Infection Prevention & Safetyto join our Education team. This role offers the opportunity to step beyond traditional bedside nursing and make an organization wide impact through employee education, new hire onboarding, clinical competency development, infection prevention, occupational health, and safety.

You’ll work across multiple service lines, including hospice, home health, and PACE, while helping support employees throughout their careers. You’ll also have the opportunity to teach BLS, facilitate hands‑on skills and competencies, develop and deliver education, and serve as a key resource for infection prevention and safety.

This is a great fit for an RN who loves teaching, enjoys variety, is highly organized, and wants to use their clinical knowledge in a role that impacts hundreds of employees and the patients they serve.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field
  • Multi-state nursing license (Compact) or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire
  • Occasional travel to other Midland Care Connection offices
  • Active RN license (if nursing-focused role)
  • 3–5+ years of clinical experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication and teaching skills
  • Good organization and leadership abilities
Preferred
  • Nursing experience with hospice and/or home health
  • EMR experience
  • Infection control/employee health experience
  • Previous experience as a clinical educator or preceptor
  • Education or specialty certification
  • Experience developing training programs
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives
Targeted Certifications
  • WCC — Wound Care Certified
  • CIC — Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology
  • CRNI — Certified Registered Nurse Infusion, for IV/infusion therapy
  • COHN — Certified Occupational Health Nurse
  • BLS Instructor — American Heart Association BLS Instructor
