Critical Care Nurse – ICU
Nights with every other weekend required.
Manage up to two ventilated patients concurrently in a 16-bed unit with a daily census of approximately 13 patients.
Requirements- Valid RN license in the state or compact license required at time of submission.
- Preferred 2 years of critical care/ICU experience.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 is preferred.
- Ability to manage ventilator settings and titrate multiple vasoactive drips.
- Familiarity with arterial line, central line care, and ABG interpretation.
- Knowledge of post-cardiac surgery care and CRRT is beneficial.
- Provide care for adult and geriatric cardiac and medical ICU patients.
- Monitor and manage patients' respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Administer medications and blood products as needed.
- Perform dysrhythmia management and interpret cardiovascular monitoring data.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
