Proficient in telemetry, pressor management, positive inotropes, pacemaker operations, chest tube management, catheter/electrophysiology lab recovery, pericardial drains, and frequent site and vital sign assessments
Description:
This position requires working in a Cardiovascular ICU.The unit has 10 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1.Staffing includes unit clerks and tech support.
Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, GE bedside monitors, IABP, and Impella devices.
Documentation is done using Meditech.
Scheduling requires working 3 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.
On-call shifts may be required.
There is a floating policy to medical ICU and floor units.
Candidates must have experience in open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation.
Royal blue scrubs are the required uniform.
This unit has a reputation for maintaining high quality and patient experience scores.
New technology and equipment may be available, along with options for flexible scheduling.
