Quick Facts- Location: Topeka, KS

- Scheduled End Date: 04/05/2027
- Shift: 12-Hour Shifts, Guaranteed 36 hours/week
- Schedule: Every other weekend rotation
- Employment Type: Contract (longer contracts preferred)
- License/Certs: RNs with KS or Multistate license, BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care med/surg experience
- Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95

- Provide compassionate patient care on a 32-bed general medical inpatient unit
- Monitor and assess patients with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, musculoskeletal issues, dialysis, sepsis, and infections
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately using Epic EMR (training/test-out available)
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain a professional appearance, including navy scrub attire and adherence to jewelry/body adornment policies
- Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (no hits allowed)
- BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience in med/surg
- Educational requirement: ADN or BSN
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexibility for every other weekend rotation
- Professional attire and adherence to hospital policies on adornment and vaccination
- Vaccinations:
Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or proof of immunity), TDaP, Influenza (seasonal), TB
