Certifications:
Kansas or Multi-State RN license; BLS required - Experience:
Minimum 1 year of progressive care or step-down experience
- Pay Rate: $60.30/hour

- Provide specialized post-surgical care for abdominal, colorectal, urological, orthopedic, and plastic surgery patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess post-operative progress
- Administer medications and assist with wound care and surgical drains
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient needs
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system
- Respond quickly to patient changes and assist with recovery plans
- Support a 1:6 staffing ratio on a 32-bed unit
- Valid Kansas or multi-state RN license (no hits allowed)
- AHA BLS certification (must be current at time of submission)
- At least 1 year of progressive care or surgical step-down experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate weekends
- Flexibility to adapt to unit needs and orientation schedules
