What You ll Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care to post-surgical patients on a 32-bed unit specializing in abdominal, colorectal, urological, orthopedic, and plastic surgeries
• Monitor patient recovery, manage surgical drains, and document clinical progress using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assist in wound care and manage complex post-operative needs
• Follow hospital protocols for safety, infection control, and patient safety
• Support float requirements across other medical-surgical floors as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies including jewelry and tattoo guidelines, vaccination requirements, and respectful professional appearance

What You Need
Required:

• Kansas or multi-state RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience
• ADN or BSN degree
• Immunity to Hep B, MMR, Varicella (via titer or vaccination)
• TDaP and Influenza vaccines or exemptions

Preferred:

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Progressive care or step-down experience
