Start Date:

10/19/2026 (flexible orientation dates available) End Date: 04/19/2027 (potential for longer contracts)

Shift: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays Hours/Week: 36 hours guaranteed

Kansas or Multistate license (no hits allowed)

Experience:

Minimum 1-year Medical Surgical experience; progressive care/step-down experience a plus

Certifications:

BLS required (American Heart Association) Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Competitive pay rate of $56.95/hour Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements where applicable Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in line with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements available What You ll Do Provide top-quality care for patients undergoing abdominal, colorectal, urological, orthopedic, and plastic surgeries Monitor post-surgical patients, manage surgical drains, and support wound care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient recovery Document patient progress using Epic EMR system Assist in patient education and discharge planning Adhere to safety protocols and policies, maintaining a professional appearance with appropriate uniform and adornment What You Need Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (no hits allowed) BLS certification through the American Heart Association At least 1-year experience in Medical Surgical nursing Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate weekends and holidays Strong communication and patient care skills About the Assignment This 32-bed unit focuses on post-surgical care for patients recovering from major abdominal, colorectal, urological, orthopedic, and plastic surgeries.
