Quality Control Inspector Meriden, KS

Job Summary

Ernest‑Spencer is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for its Meriden plant. The role requires 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and involves performing inspections and testing duties to ensure shipped products meet customer specifications and quality requirements. It is a 1st shift position in a team environment focused on productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Communicate with production team members and management to identify and correct non‑conformances.
• Conduct inspections at First Article, in‑process, incoming, and final stages.
• Initiate Non‑Conformance reports as required.
• Document and report inspection findings and results, monitoring corrective actions.
• Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and sub‑assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
• Calibrate inspection equipment, if required, using written calibration instructions.
• Perform product identification and traceability activities, if required.
• Work with company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
• Communicate with customer service representatives to ensure compliance with the final product, if required.
• Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products.
• Ensure that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances, and that labels are readable.
