Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your tasks can include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.

This fast‑paced, physically demanding role requires picking up boxes and heavier objects weighing more than 25 pounds.

• Promptly unload trucks and assist fellow associates as needed.
• Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.
• Provide member service, acknowledge members, identify needs, and guide purchasing decisions.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous material disposal procedures, and report unsafe situations.
• Zone, stock, organize merchandise, set up, clean, and display product displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise, and secure fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensure product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards, and prominently display promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards, applying the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities, collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and communicate progress.
• Assist with picking and staging club pickup orders throughout the day.

The overarching responsibilities are the same as those listed above. Specifically, the associate must maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation, ensuring accurate pricing and removal of damaged goods, and securing high‑shrink items.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid at rates ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
