Job Description

We are seeking an Insurance Agency Development Manager in Topeka, KS. This role oversees licensed agents, manages telecommunications strategies, and ensures compliance across Medicare, Life, Dental, and Annuity sales and retention. The position requires leadership, management skills, and coordination within CMS marketing guidelines, with potential for remote work and on-site presence in Topeka.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including open enrollment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in training, supervision, or management
  • Licensed in Health and Life insurance with Medicare and Medicaid knowledge
  • Ability for face-to-face member contact, with some travel
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills (CRM, Microsoft Office)
  • Flexible hours, especially during Annual Enrollment Period
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, industry trends, and legislation
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Leadership skills: recruiting, motivating, and selling
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to leverage our extensive database and media presence
  • Experience in prospecting, seminar sales, coaching, and telemarketing
  • Respect for Capper’s history and rural lifestyles understanding
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and events
