What You’ll Do as a Territory Manager- Own and nurture customer relationships in a team‑based selling model, educating customers on ordering platforms and providing menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies.
- Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers.
- Collaborate with specialists to support top‑penetration opportunities and new account openings, working closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service.
- Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, business directories, and trade shows.
- Manage delivery logistics, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain accurate routing schedules.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings to provide value‑added services to customers.
- Conduct regular site visits and follow‑ups in your territory using your own vehicle.
- No direct reports.
Work outside the office, visiting customers in various weather conditions across your assigned territory.
Minimum Qualifications- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a good standing vehicle record.
- Experience in the food service industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and make cold calls to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive spirit and drive to exceed goals.
- Problem‑solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Team‑up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce (plus).
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.

The initial expected base rate for this role is between $55,000 and $95,000, depending on experience and location.
