Security Officer Part Time Access Specialist in New Century, KS — you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related procedures for visitors, team members, and deliveries.

You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Friday and Saturday nights, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access points, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
