Temporary Welder (3 positions)

Location:

1800 NW Brickyard Road, Topeka, KS 66618. The position involves daily travel to multiple counties in Kansas.

• Use hand‑welding, flame‑cutting, hand‑soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Repair damaged construction equipment and fabricate parts to repair equipment.
• Operate MIG Welder, Arc Welder, Acetylene Torch, Metal Cutoff Saw, Grinder, and other tools to make repairs on various construction equipment.
• Use the same equipment to fabricate metal parts to fix or enhance various pieces of equipment.

• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• No educational requirements; eligible within the USA and available for the entire work period.
• Experience with H2B labor certification or willingness to participate in the process.

Temporary full‑time position from 4/1/26 to 12/31/26. Eight‑hour workday, Monday‑Friday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Hourly rate  24.78 with overtime /hour. Payroll is bi‑weekly by check. Merit‑based raises are at employer discretion.

• Optional employer‑owned housing  per week /  230.00 per pay period.
• Travel reimbursements for approved transport and subsistence, including meals  per day to a maximum of  68.00 per day with receipts.
• On‑site training and tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no charge.

Daily travel to job sites located in Shawnee, Douglas, Jefferson, Osage, Franklin, Lyon, Wabaunsee, Geary, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Brown, and Nemaha counties in Kansas. Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Topeka.
