Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician

Opportunity

This position is ideal for an experienced low‑voltage technician who enjoys traveling for on‑site service and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, test, and maintain security projects.
  • Represent Evergreen on‑site, providing top‑notch service and product training.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Handle service orders and project administration.
  • Perform follow‑up to ensure client readiness for inspection.
Necessities
  • Extensive travel capability.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid card.
  • Valid electrician certificate or trainee card.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interfacing.
  • Ability to schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand code requirements.
  • Capacity to work autonomously.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork ability.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance.
  • Clearance to pass pre‑employment background, drug, and MVR screenings.
Great to Have
  • Relevant factory certifications and knowledge (e.g., Lenel, DAQ Access Control/IDS, Milestone CCTV, Pelco CCTV, Monitor Dynamics Access Control/IDS, AMAG, various DDC and Building Utility Control systems).
  • Prior experience on government contracts or military bases.
  • Capability to obtain a U.S. government clearance.
