Salary: $20-30 Hourly Based on Experience

Located in Topeka, KS installing structural steel in Kansas and surrounding states.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ironworker/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in welding, and installation of structural steel and miscellaneous, along with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This role involves working with heavy equipment to construct and install metal structures.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, including steel beams, columns, and trusses.
• Perform stick welding after passing 3G and 4G weld tests.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while operating equipment and working on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding or iron working apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proven experience as an Ironworker and Welder, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, practices, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers.
• Good physical condition and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
